About Me

HI, I am Kristin.  I am a mom of two amazing kids and a wife to my high school sweetheart.  I also happen to be a family nurse practitioner.  I have worked in family medicine and pediatrics over my 17 year career as a nurse practitioner.  Prior to that, I was a nurse for about 8 years before I went back to school.  Currently, I work for a company that provides primary care to geriatric patients that live in assisted living facilities.  

My dream of writing this blog started after dozens of families told me that they wish they had known more when making decisions about the right time to take over their parents’ care or when to move them somewhere because they could no longer take care of themselves.  My goal is to shed some light on this process and others that will come your way!
